Something not working, or a question the FAQ doesn't answer? Here is how to reach a human.
CapMeter is a small, independent project, so replies come from a person rather than a queue — usually within a couple of days. Bug reports and feature requests go to the same address. If you are writing about a bug, the two things that help most are your macOS version and what the app showed at the time.

A few answers that cover most of what arrives:
- The numbers stopped updating. Your Claude.ai session may have expired — the popup shows a "Sign In Again" button when that happens.
- Usage looks wrong. CapMeter shows what your Claude account reports, including work done in Claude Code, which shares the same limits.
- The trial ended. Your menu-bar session counter keeps working; the unlock restores prediction, alerts, history, the widget and multiple accounts.
- Refunds. Purchases go through the App Store, so refunds are Apple's to grant — you would request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
The FAQ on the home page goes into more detail, including what happens if Anthropic changes how usage is reported.
