Support
Something not working, or a question the FAQ doesn't answer? Here is how to reach a human.
CapMeter is a one-person project, so replies come from a person rather than a queue — usually within a couple of days. If you write about a bug, the two things that help most are your macOS version and what the app showed at the time.
Bug reports and feature requests
Public tracker. Useful if you would rather see whether someone has already reported the same thing, or if you want to follow a fix.
Before you write
A few answers that cover most of what arrives:
- The numbers stopped updating. Your Claude.ai session may have expired — the popup shows a "Sign In Again" button when that happens.
- Usage looks wrong. CapMeter shows what your Claude account reports, including work done in Claude Code, which shares the same limits.
- The trial ended. Your menu-bar session counter keeps working; the unlock restores prediction, alerts, history, the widget and multiple accounts.
- Refunds. Purchases go through the App Store, so refunds are Apple's to grant — you would request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
The FAQ on the home page goes into more detail, including what happens if Anthropic changes how usage is reported.
